Mask frustrations

I am really getting frustrated with my masks. I have 3 of them, ComfortCurve, Ultra Mirage II nose mask, and Ultra Mirage Full Face Mask. Until the last month I liked them all. Now all of a sudden I can't get comfortable in them. The ComfortCurve is all of a sudden leaking, where it was great before. The Ultra Mirage II nose mask is now leaking around the eyes, and I snore again using the Ultra Mirage Full Face Mask. All 3 masks were working great until the last month, and the problem is getting worse.

To correct the problem.
1. I make sure I only wash the masks with Baby Shampoo, and I rinse them really well.
2. I fit them when laying down.
3. I have tried them loose, as well as tight.

I have ordered the ComfortLite2, and it should be here on Friday. Until then I will just have to suffer.

Anyone else experiencing the same. All the masks have been purchase since January.

The Ultra Mirage Full Face Mask, should be able to stop your snoring, what pressures do you have your machine set at? To bad you don't have the software so we could see what's going on.

You may have too wide a pressure range, or not high enough. Their is one more thing to consider in adjusting the masks. Tight and loose, and angle of the fitting. I have found that the angle is important also.

I haven't tried it my self but i've read it enough times on this forum to know that people use mole skin as a sort of shim where their mask leaks.
Worth a try and cheaper than a new mask.

Thank you so much for the suggestions. Moleskin is a good idea. I will try that on my Ultra Mirage II nose mask. That one only irritates/leaks a little around the eye.

I do have the software and I am using APAP 12-15cm. Leak rate is not bad at all. AHI has increased some since I started having problems with the masks, buts still under 2.0.

I think Moleskin is going to be my best bet, so I will pick some up tomorrow. Then on Friday I will try the ComfortLite 2.

We have found that 3M Micro foam 1" width is better than moleskin and I am sure it is cheaper. It is available at Walgreens and comes in a roll. Best to call first and make sure it is available at a Walgreens near you.
