Questions

Post by stantheman » Sat Apr 21, 2012 8:25 pm

I have been on BIPAP for 4 years, my original numbers were 20/17 and I have lost 80 lbs last night I had a new sleep study and the tech said I need to talk to the Doctor but I no longer need a BIPAP so here is my question. Can a Respironics BIPAP Auto M series be set for CPAP only and if so how and can it be set to 12.

I believe the M series setup menu offers straight cpap mode. I know that my PR System one Bipap offers it.
Give me a minute to find the manual that explains how to get to the clinical setup menu and I will send the link to you via private message.

The BiPap Pro....offers 2 modes....straight bilevel with 2 fixed pressures and 1 fixed pressure which is cpap mode.

The Bipap Auto has the same 2 modes above plus auto adjusting pressures.
