Thank You For Pad-a-Cheek

Post by I Love The Jets » Fri Apr 06, 2012 10:22 am

For all of you who have posted about Pad-a-Cheek products, a very big THANK YOU!!

I received mine this week, and for the first time in many months I did not have to go into the office (and important meetings) with deep lines in my cheek from my nasal pillow straps.

Great product!

Ditto, the thank-you.

I'm using the nose bridge protector without leaks that the Gecko produced and the barrel cozy to stabilize the nasal pillows. Alternating with both---so far, I've been able to not have my nose cartilage cut on to fit the CPAP.

I also use the bridge protector when I use my mirage softgel but I still get some redness on my bridge.

Thank you all for introducing me to this fine product. My Swift FX, with its factory, thin cheekpads, would still leave deep furrows in my cheeks for over an hour after I woke up. I read this article and thought, "Hey, what the hey," and decided to try them.

Unable to do anything in my life less than Full Monte, I order the cheek, pillow, and headband pads. Got them and they are are gorgeous. High quality, no Velcro except for the pillow cover, and perfect fit.

Put them on, and almost passed out from the immediate luxurious feel from them. It was like sticking my face into a pillow before I put my head on my pillow. No marks, no shifting, no nasal irritation from a twisted headband. Wow.

Thank you for this thread.

I'll echo everyone's praise of PadaCheek. I have a Mirage Softgel mask and it was leaving red marks on my nose in the morning and the mask really leaked badly. I got a mask liner that was custom designed for my mask and put it on last week. My first impression was that this liner fit my mask like a glove. Then I was blown away after wearing it. No more red marks period. I also noted that the liner seems to stop the leaks I was experiencing. Lastly and most importantly, my AHI levels have been significantly lower since I put the liner on which I can only attribute to the liner. One more comment I would like to make is in regard to the customer service. Karen, the owner, posts her telephone number right on the web page and when you call, she answers herself. As she is a CPAP user herself she is very knowledgeable about the issues we all are facing and is very helpful. Bottom line is that I can't say enough about Karen or her products.

+1 on Padacheek praise! I've ordered a number of products from Karen as I've gone through several different masks and all products have been high quality with custom fit. I've got a custom order on the way to me right now that I'm looking forward to trying out. I asked Karen if she could combine a Type B Nose Bridge Protector (to give me a bit more padding) with the microfiber mask liner (much more comfortable than having your bare face come in contact with the silicone face cushion) for a Mirage Quattro and she obliged, shipping it out to me very quickly. Also ordered a anti-leak strap as I've read a lot of good reviews on that product. Very reasonable pricing as all products will last for many many months!

I got my mask liner for my Mirage Quattro last week and I love it! I am sleeping better, and I am ale to use my rosecea cream before be time without messing up the mask. I just got my 6 month replacement of the complete mask and headgear. I can wait to try them out together.

Thank you Karen for providing a high quality, reasonably priced solution to make. CPAP more comfortable and my AHI is trending down as well.
