Hi. I'm alittle nervous. I've always been reserved about my medical issues and always felt there were people worse off then me so I should just suck it up. Well, reading some of the forum posts I realize I don't know squat about my therapy and I should. So here I am
My first question is about software. I have seen many post about Sleepyhead software. I have not been able to find the site to download the software. Does someone have the link to the download site? Should I have received software with my machine?
Has anyone had any issues with the ResMed H5i Humidifier giving a fault error message? I started therapy in September 2011. In Feb 2012 I got the fault message and the DME switched out my Climate Control Tube. Now I'm getting the message again.
Thanks!

Re: Just Joined. A couple of questions.
Thank you so much! The download worked! I will read the user guide.
I feel so stupid for not knowing my numbers. I don't even know what my numbers were from the sleep study or the settings on my machine! I read some posts, I think from when you first joined, about how to read numbers, what numbers you should be looking for, etc. Boy do I have an education in front of me.
Thanks again!

bikerchick,
Welcome to the forum! When you get a chance go to the top left area of the main board page and click on Control Panel, the go to Profile, then edit equipment. Find what equipment you have from the drop down menu and please use the word descriptions instead of the Pictures/Icons. The Pictures/Icons can look very similar and make it hard for others to know your exact equipment without clicking on each one to see what it is.
Don't feel nervous about being here and sharing your medical issues, thoughts, and experiences, as all of us were new here once. We did not know what to ask or even how to ask it, felt that our questions or fears were stupid or may be thought so, wanted a place where we could be helped out, encouraged, allowed to rant about our struggling therapy, shout from the roof top when it is going great and we feel great too! Well, IMO you have found the right place. It's not perfect, we are not perfect, but it is the closest I have found. In time you may feel the same way...
John

Thanks John. Your words are comforting. But I'm sure you hear that from all the "newbies". I'm looking forward to being one of the "old farts".
I changed my profile. Hope it shows up. I just imported my data into Sleepyhead! I will have to look at it tomorrow. I'm ready to strap on my mask and hit the hay. Thanks again John and Pugsy!

It is OK to take care of yourself. In fact, I heard someone say that the best way to help others is to take care of yourself first. Even if you are uncomfortable putting yourself first, do it for those who are around you and depend on you. It is hard to do good when you are broken.
