Oviouslt not OT...

our local FOX carries NASCAR.

Nothing puts me to sleep like NASCAR. I had a really nice 1 hour nap on CPAP yesterday watching NASCAR.

While not on 61 the best fox on Fox News is Jenna Lee on noontime "Happening Now". Which means I gotta go, brb.

The most pleasant phone conversation I ever had with our local cable company was when I called them last year to cancel all cable TV, after putting up a small UHF antenna on the roof.

Between OTA - over the air - TV and our ROKU box, we've got more great programs to watch than time we would want to have the TV on.

The oddest thing is that when I tell others, the folks who roll their eyes and say they could never live without cable TV are the ones that can least afford the outrageous monthly cost. Our local cable company is one of the most friendly, gives excellent service, and always apologizes in writing every time they raise the monthly rates higher. But what a waste of money.

Cable internet? - that's a whole different story - couldn't live without it!

I was/am perfectly happy with an antenna and what ever came over it.

Did I mention the bill is in her name?

Did I mention it is she who cannot get NESN OTA? In fact, she did ask again this weekend, IF we move south can 'we' get NESN?

My answer?

lmao Who cares? Honestly.

Me? I don't care if I go to h3ll as long as there is wi-fi....

we did lose fox during the race season, but it was in the fall when the other networks were broadcasting the races. now would not be a good time to lose it. we are quite a ways from the fox antennae so we couldn't get it over the air. we got everything but fox.

I don't know. I just quickly skimmed the earlier posts and probably didn't read them very carefully - I thought this was just a free-for-all discussion about cable tv. The kind where we all talk at once.
