I use Flonase fairly regularly as needed along with Simple Saline nasal spray to help with hydration.
It is preferable over Afrin of course.

Never heard of foot cramps being related to cpap therapy.

At least one other forum member here has said she uses Flonase at bedtime. I use Astelin. Anything that works for your congestion is usually acceptable (Afrin of course has a 3 day limit & I only use it occasionally when nothing else works).

Hey RoboLobo,

Good to hear that second night went better!!

As far as your questions -- I don't think I have any answers but as usual I wlll make an attempt

I don't know about Flonase ... if you're thinking of using it for a stuffy nose (clogged sinuses), you might want to search the posts for "sinus rinse". A warm saline solution using a neti pot or NeilMed Sinus Rinse bottle will do the trick very nicely without the risk of medication side effects.

As far as foot cramping, I don't have any idea. Hopefully someone else will.

Mindy

I second the use of Neti. Initially is sounds disgusting, but once you get it dialed with proper temperature and salinity, it becomes an "ahhhh" moment. I usually dose about an hour before bed, but in pollen season I sometimes dose 3 times a day. Make sure you bend over and reorient your head afterwards to get water out of all of the nooks and crannies.

The first video gives a good overview of the technique. the second is just for laughs.

Good luck on your therapy.

We live full time in a motor home and travel around the country. I have an allergy problem in some places and some seasons and use Flonase then. Never had a problem with it.

The cramping may be related to the fact that you, like many of us, no longer thrash around as much;
and our body needs to get used to just lying still longer.
Also, be sure you drink plenty of water--dehydration can cause cramping.
It never hurts to do some gentle stretching before bed--it feels so good, too.
