a PR S1 (Phillips Respironics System One) Auto with AFLEX would also be a good choice... it will auto adjust. You can get software for it free (open source)

I was just looking at secondwind.com, do I need a prescription to buy there? I dont see on their site where is says weather or not you do?

Secondwind will require a RX...they verify that prior to finalizing the order.
Do know any of your friends who might have a cpap RX that you could "borrow".
There are ways to get things done with some creative putting the minds together.

I haven't had time to check my craigslist but will do that soon and see if anything local is available I could check out for you.
