anyone up for chatting? I could use the support

I feel very isolated, don't know anyone else personally who has sleep apnea. I'd find it very helpful if someone didn't mind chatting with me...

I would suggest you start your education by reading everything on this site...start with the cpap wiki light bulb and new users guy above. Take a look at the chatting live caption above too, if you see someone on there just chime in and chat away. If you have any specific questions once you have done some reading, just ask.... someone will chime in and give you some answers. I was in the same boat as you when I started almost two years ago, had no one to talk to or to releive my fears, but once I started reading here I learned alot and found out I was not alone in this battle.
Welcome to the land of hose heads, you have come to the right place.
Cheers
Nan

If you have questions, I'm sure some one here will try to answer them.....At the upper right there is a 'live chat' if you are interested. You should be directing most of your questions to the DME that supplied you with your equipment. If they do not or can not answer, try here.
