Is there a way to cursor over the thread title and see the first ten or so words of the post?

This is a great board but it would be better to easily see what a discussion thread is about without having to open it.

Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere - I looked but could not find it.

I know what you are talking about. I have seen that available in other forums.

I don't think I have ever seen anything like that available here at this forum in any of the usual settings.
