HELP: Nose, Mouth, Nose & Mouth?

Post by DJSTEVEZ » Fri Mar 09, 2012 10:07 am

I'm a newbie. The gear I have is listed below.
I'm afraid that if I'm not utilizing the "correct" breathing method, I won't be getting the full benefits.
I wear a full face mask. Should I be:

Nose Breathing Only?
Mouth Breathing Only?
Both Nose & Mouth Breathing?
Whatever feels most comfortable?

THANX! -Z-

I think it is best to breathe through your nose. Start the night off like that, and then let things fall where they will.

The important thing is to keep breathing.

Belly Breathing!

Post by Lizistired » Fri Mar 09, 2012 4:13 pm

I think "Belly Breathing" is important. I don't know where we learned to "suck our gut in" and breathe in our chest. Maybe it was SGT Carter and Gomer Pyle!
It doesn't work. It's made a big difference for me. Give it a try.
