May I point out that the body is very complex. Breathing problems are not the only thing that complicates getting a restful nights sleep.

The first goal is to get the machine and mask dialed in, but don't stop there. Once you have reasonably good numbers from your machine, you have accomplished that goal.

If you still don't feel rested you now know that it is not because of breathing issues. Now you are in the position to do additional searching to identify and eliminate everything else that stands in the way of getting a restful nights sleep.

Most breathing problems can be addressed by the machine, however if your roof leaks and it is raining outside and you are getting water drips on your head while you are trying to sleep, you won't get a restful nights sleep but it wasn't because of poor breathing.

Rested for me means I wake up on my own and I can lie there and think for a few minutes without falling asleep again. I look forward to the day instead of a nap.

I moved out of that apartment a few months ago. And that rain? It wasn't nice, fresh water; it was crud from the dishwasher above.
