OT: smoke and mirrors

Post by rocklin » Wed Feb 15, 2012 2:33 am

.

3:20 am, as usual, my Resmed S9 is pumping thick, black, burnt-plastic humidifier smoke into my lungs for four hours straight before I sigh, then murmur: "That's enough of that for tonight!", turn it off, then I go to the computer, no porn, just surfin' and I hit this movie trailer about FDR, starring Barry Bostwick:

FDR: American Badass.

Some Googling produces an Entertainment Weekly interview with the producer of the film:

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: First question — WTF?

GARRETT BRAWITH: And people keep asking why we’d make a movie where the 32nd president’s wheelchair shoots rockets and blows away Nazi werewolves but the answer’s always the same. For the children. We do it for the children.

Hey, I'd watch that movie. I love silliness...

But Barry Bostwick will always be Brad Majors to me. Standing in his briefs, socks and dress shoes while Frank N Furter regales him with song.

Though he was cute in the end with bustier and garter belt too...

And Rocklin, seriously...no porn?

This is a forum for people with serious health problems to get help from good people who want to help others.

It is very cruel of you to be making fun of a poor lady with serious injuries.
As someone said to me a while back... this is OT... no one held your hand on the mouse and made you read it!

There are some character actors that year after year, just grow on you, and Barry is one.

At 3am, entering the Endless World of Internet Porn is like Alice going down the rabbit hole: if it wasn't for my wife cuffing me on the back of my head that morning, saying: "Again?", I'd just keep going and going.

NYC in the grip of full-blown Linsanity fever for the last week: it's like the end of WWII; confetti in the air, women on the street kissing the nearest Asian man full on the lips . . .

Geeze... posts just disappear around here... or change.

People... use your machines, it is supposed to help the brain matter.

I could actually use Muffy & Company's considerable expertise, it's the reason I went to the place in the first place. But I don't want to be met by a SWAT team.
