..I hope!
AHI 83, 70% OA, 30% mixed and centrals.
DME ordered in s9 (vpap adapt w/climateline) at my request, for 2 week trial, then PR system one bipap avaps for 2 weeks. RT gets to choose which machine has better results, if both effective with the centrals then I get to choose, if neither effective then we move onto ASV. Also have swift fx +chin strap (my choice) and Mirage Quattro (RT prefers) to try out. DME/sleep lab/neurologist is all in one, I was concerned about conflict of interest but so far my fears were groundless, in fact they only supply newest top of range machines and accessories so possibly an advantage.
I'm using the machine with Swift FX as I am writing this. I'd rather get used to it for a few hours before I sleep tonight. Is that ok? I realize it may skew the data.
Downloaded Sleepyhead and checked first hour's data. Works great!
Thank you SO much to members of this board. I went into today's meeting with RT/dme informed and positive.
Under no illusions about this journey, but so looking forward to a good night's sleep. I know it's unlikely but hope it's tonight!
epap:9 (minimum to stop snoring in titration) ps:3.2 to 8.0
Finally! 5 weeks after PSG, therapy start tonight..

Congratulations and here's hoping everything else goes equally as smoothly for you. The worst is over and downhill from here. Good job.
