This thread should give everyone more than enough info to realize what you're dealing with. The sad part is, this is JUST one of many threads....

Sorry, but I couldn't help myself.

I'm with Pugsy on this, there's something else going on here that's making me wonder??? Nobody I know just pops 50mg of prednisone at night to sleep. On the contrary, most drs will tell you not to take prednisoneanywhere close to bedtime and anyone who's taken it can tell you why. With regular tapered dosing prescribed by my dr even when I get down to 10-20mg I'm still jumping out of my skin and have a hard time falling asleep even when taken in the morning. Also my RX is always for the exact amount the Dr wants me to take with strict instructions for tapering and I never have any pills left over. This person needs more help than we can give him, I'm afraid.

You are correct, Dori. The last thread by this person -- I posted a pretty straight forward "if you are for real, you need a caregiver or healthcare advocate to help you get these issues addressed - people on an internet forum cannot help" --

And yet another thread pops up.

I'm with Pugsy and Dori on this, we have repeatedly told this person to see a doctor. How does someone get all these
drugs, unless they are an addict or simply pulling our chain...I'm for the later.

Edited to mention..I replied to this thread earlier today, probably third or fourth response, in it I stated in CAPS to go see a doctor. Somehow my response was deleted, obviously the op didn't like it.
Time to not ever respond to sickwithapnea17's threads...EVER!!!

Apparently my post on this from earlier today was deleted as well.

The OP has been repeatedly asking medical questions of me in PM's (and I suspect many others as well, from the responses here) and each time I have directed her to discuss her concerns with her doctor.

This public forum is not the place to seek medical advice.

If the OP persists, I think it's time to ask for Johnny Goodman to step in.

I saw your earlier post. It still shows if you scroll through the posts after you hit the reply button.
Someone spam deleted it. Want to take bets on who?

I just want to point out that Prednisone is a Steroid and is used primarily to supress an Auto-Immune Response, Principally Inflammation. It is not a Sleeping Aid, it acts to the contrary and will keep you up at night.

For those who are reading this thread, 50mg is a very high dose of Prednisone. Long term use of Prednisone can be very dangerous if done without the supervision of a Dr and it requires a slow weanning off to avoid an Adrenal Crisis that can result in death!

As others have indicated.... "I'm done on this thread"
I'm getting better day by day. Few if any OA Events, mostly CAs and Hyponeas.

I have Interstital Lung Disease

Well....someone is spam deleting more than Janknitz's comments, as mine are disappearing too.

Don't know how long this one will stay up but abuse of spam button is a big no no.

Yep, Maddy,
I see you noticed it also.

We all know who it is...he/she has been registered long enough to get the spam button.

Yes, and let's hope someone will do something about this ridiculous behavior.

I would join with the others in saying that if this person truly is doing all they describe, they're liable to turn up dead. Asthma is nothing to play with. This person needs a doctor, not a forum.

Point of education for the dude hitting the spam delete button.
They aren't totally gone. We can all bring them back really easy and you are making a butthead of yourself.

Here you go.
I can keep putting them back as long as you want to keep removing them. It is so simple and I have all night.

So far these have been removed and not by the authors.

The asthma discussion with OP has been discussed before many times (ad nauseam) along with all sorts of other self diagnosis/self treat off the wall crap. He/she either doesn't listen by choice, is yanking our chains for attention or is just plain stupid.

If any of you newbies are maybe thinking I am a being awfully harsh...take the time to read OP numerous other posts. Make up your own mind. There is a reason that most of the veteran forum members have stopped posting responses to this person.

Quite honestly, I think yanking our chains for grins but on the off chance really needing help...this isn't the place for someone who cannot or will not follow the simplest basic suggestions. All are ignored. Either that or someone is really sick and not physically.... No matter which, this forum can't help this type of person.

Heck, I am tired.. the rest are all there as will this one if you spam delete it.

And now you have officially pretty much confirmed the "yanking chain" thing that trolls do.
Good job. Makes it a whole lot easier to ignore and not feel one iota of guilt.

I just looked back to find a post of mine from a previous thread from this poster -- it's gone too.

It appears that any post that tells this poster something they don't want to hear, they Spam delete it.

That's very inappropriate behavior and not condoned by the Administrators of this forum.

Yep, mine's missing and all the posts that came after agreeing with me. He also deleted the 50mg dosage from his OP. I guess he has a Spam/Delete button which should be reported. I may just do that!

Ya,

It looks like someone is watching this thread and tagging any responses that they don't like. I suspect some will loose their ability to mark posts as spam shortly.

Well Dori,

If it is the original poster, they do have 220 posts. So they would/should have a Spam Delete button. Maybe they have just finnly realized it and gone on a delete spree. And of course if thats the case, it won't last long.

Plus if it is the orginal poster.. It does kinda revel their true colors.

Edit,
Just checked a Lot of the old topics from this poster. They have really been scrubbed. Someone has been hard at work removing everyone's posts that disagreed with this original poster.
