is water in mask rainout or something else?

Hi Guys.

I have been getting water in my mask cushion and pillows for at least two weeks now. I have been using my Phillips M series apap with regular hose and Padacheek hose cover since I started cpap two years ago. When I first got my machine I got rainout but fixed this by getting a thick Padacheek hose cover. All the variables are the same as far as I can tell:
8 foot hose with cover, room temperature around 67 degrees in winter, like now, machine and humidifier about two feet lower than my head in bed, same kind of mask with replacement cushion and pillows (MIrage Liberty, cushion and pillows changed every couple of months) sleep with hose outside covers but with hose cover. Humidity dial on machine was a little over 1.5 on my F & P 150.
In response to getting water in the mask with all the above being the same the only thing I have changed is the humidifier dial from 1.5 to 1. I am still getting condensation. Can I change the dial to .5 on the humidifier and still get positive nasal humidification?
Other than lowering the humidifier button, the only other thing I can think of trying is a heated hose.
Does this sound like true rainout, or because the temperatures here in MD have dropped at night to the high 30's-40's, I just need to turn the humidifier dial under 1?

I use the Liberty also and occasionally have noticed water dripping from the vent holes. I assumed it was the moisture in my breath condensing on the inside of the mask. I've been meaning to post something about this so am looking forward to hearing what others suggest. By the way, I have a heated hose so assuming we're getting moisture for the same reason it's not the hose.

Try turning up the heat in the room and seeing what happens. Even if you don't want to do that full time, it may help you diagnose the problem.
