Morning at the Doctor
Morning at the Doctor
Went to the Dr. today, he put me through breathing tests and a X-Ray. I took my Excel data printout of the last 3 months. He didn't have much to say I told him I had moved treatment from his script of 14 cm to 15.5 cm after a top out of 16 cm, he had little to say just wrote the setting in on my chart.
I showed him the difference it made in raising the pressure, and I told him the only thing I would change is I would get a APAP. He wrote me a script for a new mask, now I have to decide whitch one to try to get the DME to order. The best the Nurse was impressed by the data. My lung function has improved, probably due to being pumped up nightly.

Don't you just hate it when the doctors aren't impressed with us?

rotfl!! Well, if you don't understand what you're looking at, maybe it's best not to say anything. LOL! Just nod sagely and scribble a note in the chart.Goofproof wrote:I took my Excel data printout of the last 3 months. He didn't have much to say

I need a new prescription every year for a mask - if I want to get reimbursed from my insurance company (which I always do).

I have the Pro 2 C-flex, The lab set me at 12, when the machine came in the Dr. had it set at 14, and I setup the software and Lab Rat-ed my way to 15.5 cm, thinks to the fine teaching of the people here and RG's sucess.
I also made a "U" Tube Manometer to check the true pressures, my machine seem to be running .5 cm low, not that that maters. What matters is the numbers, but more important how you feel.
