Loving my cpap now

I forgot my user name.

I use Respironics - has a humidifier attached - and a face mask that covers my nose and mouth. I've had my machine 4 months or so now. The first two weeks I would feel suffocated and rip the mask off. My compliance the first month was 50%. The next six weeks I missed one day and they were surprised that my compliance went from 50% to 98% on a mOnth.

Now I prefer to sleep with it. It feels supportive and better. I feel naked without it. And I just feel safer with it.

That's great! I think that first 2 weeks is pretty normal. I know I go to sleep alot faster with the mask than I ever did without it. Makes me wonder how long I have needed it. A little more time and you might remember your screen name!

If you post from the very same computer/email account as when you signed up,
the guest name you use should be followed by a notation of 'also known as:________'
At least that's the way it used to be.

I feel the same way about my CPAP. It is my signal to curl up and go to sleep.
