ignorant1, thanks for the compliment, which I really don't deserve.
Well, of course you deserve it. What motive could Ignorant1 have for dealing you a phoney compliment?

He's impressed by your erudition, logic and thoughtfulness and continual effort to help the rest of us.

And so am I.

Plus, you are funny.
And modest.

She absolutely does deserve a compliment! Many times I've benefitted from her research - she did the work and I got the knowledge. Humble people are usually uncomfortable with accolades, but nothing wrong with enjoying a compliment, so enjoy, SleepingUgly.

Agreed on all the above.
She's helped me so many times. I also read all her threads.
She's knowledgeable, witty and an honorable person.
Yep, I think she should except the compliment gracefully.

I actually DO have a reason to pay her a false compliment – I’m trying to pick up on her. I just find the blue tinged skin of a hypoxic 8-foot tall woman to be irresistible!
“Ignorance” is not pejorative; it is simply a lack of information. “Stupidity” is an inability to utilize available information.

I almost missed this thread!

For the first time in my life, I'm speechless. I don't know what to say (except that I knew ignorant1 must have some ulterior motive, I just wasn't sure what it was! )

Thank you so much. I'm very flattered.

P.S. The only thing missing here is a compliment from Muffy...

Shucks, "I" think SU is very attractive. (But then blue has always been my favorite color). I've benefited from SU's generosity of spirit and I'm here to say THANK YOU to SU too! A lovely lady w/a lovely heart and spirit.

And I almost missed this thread. Mega dittos on SU being a huge asset here! She is very generous and I think she gives more than she receives. This is a great thread to correct that!!

Plus she is a great friend
