Meds for Congestion

Post by Liam1965 » Sun Jan 30, 2005 11:00 pm

Folks,

I wonder if there are any sorts of additive meds that can safely be added to the water in the heated humidifier.

I'm thinking back to when I was a young 'un, and when I had a bad cold, mommy would put on the hot-steam humidifier with some Vicks VapoSteam in it, and make my room all methol smelling. But it worked, and I could generally breathe through the night.

Now, I'm not going to go adding VapoSteam to my H/H (unless told to by a doctor), but are there any similar types of additives for CPAP humidifiers?

Or am I just blowing, er, steam?

--Liam.

Get the Aussie hetaed hose and crank the humidifier up to the max. It will clear you up in no time. Try Sudafed 24 hr also if this doesn't work. Take it in the morning.
