Hello Fellow hose-heads!
Beg pardon to anyone who may be offended by my reference! Just posting a "Hello, I'm here" new user. I'm fresh off my first night of CPAP therapy, feeling like a zombie, but encouraged by all of you who have posted tips and what to expect. This forum is truly fantastic and has made my introduction to CPAP therapy much easier and well informed.
My Quattro FX mask seems to be a great product, as I had no seal issues with it outside of my own "fiddling" with it to get it comfortable. My Remstar unit seems well designed and user-friendly, especially with the BIG BUTTON making it easy to reach over and find in groggy states.
Great to be here...

Welcome fellow hosehead! Sound like you are off to a good start!
I want to nominate you as HOSEHEAD OF THE QUARTER, because you have obviously been reading the wealth of information here, and have taken the time to register and list your equipment in text format for us to see each and every time you post!

Good luck !
Good luck !
Thinking of quitting CPAP?
No problem, here's the first thing to do when you quit:
Advanced funeral planning. When you give up CPAP, you'll probably need it.

Re: Hello Fellow hose-heads!
Welcome to the forum. Obviously you have done your homework. Have you seen your software options yet?
I put together some examples here. viewtopic.php?f=1&t=64906&st=0&sk=t&sd= ... re+options
Edit: Do you have your clinical/provider manual for your machine yet. If not let me know.

Thank you all, and yes, Pugsy, I'm aware of the Encoreviewer software, as well about how it won't load directly on a Windows 7 64 bit machine. Still have to decide if I want to spend the $100.00, although i AM a "datahead", love the stats, etc.!

Re: Hello Fellow hose-heads!
Oh, and yes, I have all my manuals, and I've read all the details - I'm a manual freak, as well - LOL! But thanks for offering, too!
Re: Hello Fellow hose-heads!
Encore Viewer 2.0 does not offer waveform detail which is an in depth analysis of the breaths and any associated events.
The other software options will give waveform detail. If you are a data person, you will want the wave form.

Re: Hello Fellow hose-heads!
I downloaded Sleepyhead onto my Windows 7, 64 bit machine - at first it kept telling me "no machine data" in the folder, but I must have finally chosen the right sub, and the data came up - WOW, this is REALLY COOL to see all the details! Thanks again, Pugsy...when I have more time, I'll try some of the others.
