how does one get a new cpap calibrated for their prescription?

I think you mean "change the settings". Calibration is a whole nother thing.

To change settings, you'll need the "Clinician's Manual". The procedure is different for each model. If you can tell us what machine you have, we can help you find the manual.

well I was thinking of getting a new cpap, the silent little cpap and wanted to know how to set it up for my prescription.

They all proclaim to be "silent".

This link has instructions for most new and old brands and models on how to get to the clinical setup on each machine to alter settings. It also has some clinical manuals available as quick downloads and others by request. If you are requesting a manual be sent to you...you have to specify which machine (brand and model).

What's the full name of the "silent little cpap" you're thinking about getting?

I'm guessing this might be the one you have in mind?
