Now you have one!

If you are

*new to sleep apnea
*living with someone with sleep apnea

....come on and join us. Our meetings are very friendly and relaxed, and you'll get to meet others who are dealing with the same issues as you are. This a chance to talk with others who can give you new ideas on how you can optimize your CPAP therapy, make it more comfortable, and of course, get more and better sleep.

As the snow falls during this winter storm, I'm reminded of how many times something gets cancelled during times like this and it made me think about our meetings. If this happens near one of our meetings, just keep an eye on cpaptalk.com, and I'll let you know on this thread or via PM we we're still having the meeting or if it is called off.

Meanwhile, I'm excited about getting together with everyone next month. Anyone else care to join us?

Thanks teknomom, I'm looking forward to seeing you guys again.

And thanks to Starlette who searched for a good location and for arranging the private meeting room at Perkins. She tried to secure it for the last meeting but they had it booked already. However this time she got it we've got it in time so it should be far quieter than last time.

Also a thank you to Perkins for obliging us. Some places required some kind of deposit and I don't want anyone who may not have money to be forced into having to pay, or to feel like they can't get help because they couldn't pay or buy something. Perkins didn't have that requirement. Everyone is invited and can attend with no fee or requirement to buy anything.

We'll see you all there!

TOPIC for Nov 19: Sleep Hygiene

This will be another fabulous meeting. Our own cpaptalk member "carbonman" will be leading a discussion on sleep hygiene. Having had the privilege of meeting carbonman, I can say he is someone I am very excited to be around, and is an excellent example of the success that you and I are capable of achieving with our therapy. He has an awesome positive attitude toward his therapy and life in general. See his thread 'Symphony of the Human Spirit', and you'll know what I mean: viewtopic/t70152/The-symphony-of-the-hu ... ml#p649097

And a huge thank you to Starlette who has made the arrangements for a private meeting room at Perkins, as well as for setting up the sleep hygiene discussion.

Whether you are brand new to sleep apnea, are someone who is struggling, are even if you are doing well with your therapy, come join us Saturday Nov 19, 10 AM at the Perkins 8691 Sheridan Blvd in the back meeting room. I promise, you will enjoy this group, the people, and you will learn so many ideas that will help make your life and therapy better and better and better!

See you then!

Good evening Denver cpapers!

KIND REMINDER: Next Saturday 11/19 we'll be meeting.
Before 5pm on Friday 11/18, I'll need a headcount of those attending so we make sure we have enough room/chairs for everyone. Then I'll post to confirm I did. Looking forward to seeing everyone again

Ameriken

I most likely will not be able to make the meetings until after the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays.

This is a very busy time of the year for most of our pastors with commitments to the Church. We are also obliged to help with counseling commitments from within our Churches as well as from TRICARE/CHAMPUS due to increased returning military personnel. I have traditionally taken a lead role in those matters and will do so again this Season

Roger

Plan on 2 from Estes Park. I tried to answer your PM but I'm not sure it went through. See you on Saturday!

Count me in.

The better half will not be able to make it,
this time.

Good morning everyone.

Without confirming the total headcount, I called Perkins for a seating of 10 for tomorrow.
If we have to add/delete seats, we’ll deal with it tomorrow.
This morning I went to reach for a sweater in my closet and pissed off my hip somehow.
Due to the pain, I’m more than likely going home early after lunch to lay flat on my back.
I didn’t want to forget taking care of this. I won’t miss tomorrow. I’ll see you all then.

Starlette
