LOL...Yawning
LOL...Yawning
I have learned to yawn with my "snorkel" on. Took a while but now I can yawn with the mask on and not get a blast of air. Such a small thing yet I feel triumphant. Audge - 1, BiPap - 0

Re: LOL...Yawning
I yawned the other night with my mask on! I realized I hadn't yawned in forever. Who knew that could feel so good?!

I sneezed 3 times with mask on the other night - first one was a disaster, but the other two were more controlled LOL.

I belched (spagetti for dinner) for about an hour last night....thought "crap, this is going to show up on my stats as snores". Nope, only had one snore show up...whatever happened to those loud belches

This seems to be a/n eustachian tube subject, so here's my question. I get bothered by the pressure building in my left ear, and have yet to figure how to reverse the pressure without removing the mask? ideas, anyone? Personally, I'd like to pass on sneezing in the mask earl

Hmmm... stick a pencil into your eardrum until it pops. Okay... you may have to go to the ER afterwards, but at least your ear pressure will be fixed.n0hardmask wrote:This seems to be a/n eustachian tube subject, so here's my question. Wow! yawning? Before xpap I used to yawn constantly! Didn't you just hate that? Everyone else would start yawning and then blame me for causing them to yawn.Lizistired wrote:I yawned the other night with my mask on! I realized I hadn't yawned in forever. Who knew that could feel so good?!
I can't say I miss all those yawning episodes.

I get the ear pressure, both sides, my ears block up when I ramp up to about 10 cm pressure. I am running my auto at 12-16. All I can say is that I live with the blocked ears and by the time I fall to sleep and wake up the pressure has equalized and my ears are no longer blocked.

I have tinnitus in both ears, so I just lay there and listen to incoming till I go to sleep. Sometimes it changes and sounds like train whistles.

Chew bubble gum with your mask on... that should fix it.

Re: LOL...Yawning
Right before I'm going to put my Mask on I start Yawning over and over again. I have to wait because my eyes will water at the same time, and I want to wait until it's over. I'm starting to think this may be some kind of deep psychological thing so I will stall putting the Mask on. Oh the Mind Games we must endure to remain compliant.
