Eeeyow! Is this to make a distinction from the "hours" you are Not breathing??! Guess that would be good information....

That's what I thought. Maybe I should be a deep-sea diver.

Didn't make a whole lot of sense to me either that wording. That is why I passed the buck to Emelia.
I bet she will be around this evening and will shed some light on this. Probably something very simple and we are making it harder than it is and make me look like a dufus.

Where do you see that data? I don't see it on my data reports for SmartLink. The only hours listed are under Time Statistics for Delay and Non-Delay Modes. Perhaps Devilbiss Marketing, the company rep on this forum can shed some light....

"While Breathing" is part of the code results you get with the online stats and it just means how long you were asleep (and presumably breathing ), and your numbers look great!

What a bizarre choice of words to label this!

While I agree that the wording is strange, I believe "while breathing" is as opposed to having the machine on but not wearing the mask. Those "while breathing hours" would be the ones that count toward compliance. (I guess to account for those who might think they could "cheat" by just having the machine on w/o the mask).

SmartLink module works, but software doesn't, so I'm using SleepyHead. Thanks, JediMark!

Thanks for the logical interpretation redjoe....(though previously obscure to me)!! Makes total sense now that I remind myself of all that compliance monitoring crap.

Thanks for responding.

Actually, the numbers I posted are the "While Breathing Hours".

Does this mean out of the 7 +/- hours I used the machine per night, I only slept 0.9 to 2.4.

It doesn't seem like that could be right. I don't feel THAT bad.

That's what I don't understand about the "While Breathing" metric.

"While Breathing Hours" is one of the line items on the report from the online smartcode report generator.

Could you post the actual report here? It might help in sorting this out for you. The numbers certainly don't make sense as "While Breathing Hours". They seem more like AHI, NRI, or EPI values to me. How long have you been using the machine? Could they be 1 day, 7 day, 30 day, and 90 day AHI values?
