PR System One: temperatures for different masks

I've been experimenting with the Mirage Liberty for a few days and noticed that there are quite a few water droplets inside the nasal pillows when I wake up in the middle of the night and in the morning. Is it OK to breathe through one's nose with water droplets in the nasal pillows? I'm thinking that this is normal, and it's OK, but I just want to make sure. I lowered the temperature over the course of the few nights from 4 to 2, but still get the droplets. My mouth is dry at all settings, anyway. I was surprised that I could go so low: with my Quattro FX FFM, I had the best nights' sleep at 5 or 4. I only fill the reservoir to 50% b/c so little gets used up; I want to conserve the distilled water, so only want to throw out as little as possible after use on a daily basis.

Also, is it abnormal to need such a high temperature? I live in Northeastern US and it's been a very muggy summer and I sleep with my windows open. If I do best at 5 or 4 with my Q FX in this humid climate, what might I expect in the winter when the heat goes on?

Why do you throw out your water every morning.........many of us just it top up and never throw any away.

The water forming in the nasal pillows is probably from the moisture in your exhaled breath condensing inside the pillows. Even if you had the humidifier set to zero it would probably occur. Room air temp is the biggest culprit.
Cooler nights...cooler bedrooms. It won't physically hurt you to breathe back that moisture but it can disrupt your sleep which is of course unwanted.

That's what the DME told me to do. I had actually started emptying it every other day—until that spider-in-the-reservoir post. Gave me the willies. We have a lot of spiders, here, and they particularly enjoy my bedroom!

I set mine at 3 usually and sometimes at 4 if it's dry out. haven't had any moisture in my mask or any rain-out. It hasn't changed when I've used other ffm and pillow masks either. I do have a cover on my hose.
