Private Messages remain in "Outbox" not "Sent" box

Hi all,

Seriously forgive me if I missed where this was mentioned as I'm certain it is here probably very easily found but does anyone know why if I send a PM it remains in my outbox and doesn't show up in the sent box? They show a status of sent on today's date for example but they don't move out of the outbox.

Hi Noshow

They get into sent when the recipient opens them, although I have known instances where the sender saw it in sent, whilst the recipient had not opened it.

Yes, it remains in the 'outbox' until opened by the recipient.
