Note that the spaces before the .com are because I can't post the URL. The original wasn't like that.

Can't be Resmed's fault; who, then?

I received my email. What a pity. I know I was able to pick up some great buys and was able to try out numerous masks prior to settling on the Headrest. I couldn't have done it without cpapauction. I, also, purchased a couple of machines from that site.

I, too, have wondered what caused it to cease so quickly.

This is weird. I had just sent payment today via Paypal for an item I won on Cpapauction, and now I get a message from the vendor saying Cpapauction is shutting down and he/she is cancelling all orders from this week and returning payment:

"I am returning the funds. CPAP auction has just notified me that they have shut the site down so I have canceled all sales that took place this week."

Does this make any sense? Why would the two be connected? Has anyone else had this happen?

It wouldn't surprise me. It is a shame we cpapers treated this way. I know there are some people who have very complicated degrees of OSA and CSA that will need close examination from the very best experts. But for the vast majority of us, OSA and CSA, is a very simple fix. If we try to get the best deal we can for our therapy off of the internet the government and the medical industry treats us like we are criminals.

The good people of cpap.com was probably harassed out of the auction business. I'm just guess here.

Maybe the sponsor didn't like the competition?

it's all my fault. I am from Australia, where we make CPAP machines (or used to make them) and they cost twice as much here. I sent my prescription to them (CPAP fixed) and they approved me for masks and gear only. when I emailed them a few weeks later they apoligised and approved me for Auto and CPAP machines. I then asked a seller if they would post to Australia and they said no. I was then going to set up a Shipto address to get hold of one. Interpol, the CIA, and the Illuminati obviously got onto my capers and they have pulled the plug before my evil crimes could be implemented. sorry everyone, I pushed our luck. I just hope noone goes to prison when they send the FBI in to bust us all. / sarcasm

all makes me want to marry the daughter of a Chinese businessman though, just to get the inside rap on the goods.
