CMS-50D+ how do I save the entire file to my computer

My daughter over-nighted the proper usb cord to me, just under $20.00 and well worth it given the circumstances, and I'm up and running but now I can't figure out how to get the entire file of info to save. Last night was esp interesting and while I can now use it snip-it successfully I can't get an entire page of readable info due the small laptop I'm using.

Also I'd like to save the entire file with all the pages as I'd like to print it out when I go home so that I can show it to the Dr on the 19th.

So how do I save the entire file of info to my computer?

I think I have the 50D instead of the plus. This is what I do.

To download data:

1. Connect the CMS50D to your computer with the cable provided. While this looks like a standard USB cable and connects to a USB port, other cables don’t seem to work with the device.
2. Start the SpO2 Review program.
3. Click the magnifying glass button on the bottom of the window.
4. Make sure “New session” radio button selected.
5. Enter patient data (only name is needed and is used for the name of the file saved).
6. Click “OK”, you will see “Device connected: Waiting for data”
7. Turn on the CMS50D, then hold the button down to go into menu. Once in the menu, the data will automatically start to download
8. After the download is complete, remove the USB cable and be sure to exit from the menu so the CMS50D will turn off.
9. The data appears to be saved automatically.

I have kind of the same problem. I follow all the steps ok. I can "find" ANY session I have saved using SP02 review but after exiting the program the data is no where to be found. I have made sure the folder is not "hidden" but can not browse and find the daily files anywhere. If SP02 is started again there the daily files all are again. I want to look at the daily files with sleephead but can't find them. Any ideas?

W/Windows XP I just use the Search option w/one of the file names. All the file names are the same except for the ending numbers.

Mine are under Local Disk (C), Program Files, Sp02, Data.

The file extension is always .spoR

The file name is whatever ID name I use, the eight digit date and 4 random numbers that the software assigns the file, i.e.

After you open spo review (green icon) and click the magnifying glass, you have a choice between "New Session" and "Review". If there is no device detected "Review" is automatically selected and your files list should open. The file names are all by date unless you named them something different.
If that isn't happening, what is?
On my Windows 7 they are in: C:\Program Files (x86)\SpO2\Data

YES and NO search works yet when I click on the files they are not found, if I click my way to Local Disk (C), Program Files, Sp02, Data the folder is empty yet the spyglass finds 10 or so entries everytime...go figure.

Try clicking on Review, then scroll down to Find File. Click on Find File. The list of files should pop up.

Look at the top of that box of list of files. It should read: Look In w/a folder named Data. Move to the right to the Check arrow in the box at the end of the Data box. Click on the arrow and your list of directories, etc. should show up and you should be able to scroll down and find the path to your data files.

You windows setting probably have the files hidden. Mine did, you just reminded me. I had to change the folder settings to see them in the DATA folder.

Found the sane problem in AMAZON review of the CMS... products. If SP02 review is not run as ADMINISTRATOR on Win 7 it saves the data files as virtual files. I ran SP02 as an admin and re-download the last session from my cms60d and poof there they were (as .cvs and .spor). I'm not sure if I can recover my old sessions but I know I can print them with no problem. Thanks all

OK, I can't properly explain this without using obscenities, but here's an attempt.

This is how it works in Windows Vista. Microsoft likes to change the locations around with every new version of windows, so it may be a little different in other versions of Windows.

SPO2 "thinks" the files are stored in C:\Program Files\SpO2\Data.

They're really stored in C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\SpO2.

"%username%" is my user name when I log into Windows. You'll need to substitute your ID there.

Microshaft Windows won't show you the Data directory in C:\Program Files\SPO2. No indication that there's any kind of magic hidden virtual directory, even though it's there as far as some programs are concerned.

If you start looking for the file in the real location, when you get to C:\Users\%username%\, "AppData" is not there. Microshaft has conveniently hidden the file. "Mr. Customer, you don't need to know anything. We're going to hide this from you." Sounds like a *#$&@#( DME or Doctor telling you that you don't need to see your CPAP data, doesn't it?

Now go in to the C:\Users\%username%\ directory, click on Tools-Folder options-view-show hidden files and folders-apply. Now, you can work your way down to AppData\Local\VirtualStore\SPO2\Data.

Bill Gates, I hope you and Ballmer get a really bad case of sleep apena and never can make CPAP work for you.

Yeah, I know Bill and Amanda do a lot of good now w/all the money they've accumulated thru the years - but every time I use my 'puter I cuss Bill out. Every new edition of Windows is slower to load than the previous and .... no sense in going into all the reasons I hate what MS has evolved into ....
