But So Well has actually managed to raise my blood pressure, and that takes . . . talent.

So, rather than let "So Well" continue his hijack of a very serious thread: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=67710&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=15, I've decided to answer him here, and delete my answer to his hijack. I hope he has the common decency to delete his two most recent hijack posts in that thread.

I'd ask, that if any of members feel the need to post here, please let "So Well" answer first, before you do post. Or even better, let's hope So Well "does the right thing", deletes his two hijacks, and wisely lets this new thread sink silently away.

Mike, Was your ADD running at very high levels yesterday? You failed to notice that the OP introduced the subject of poor medical care and a poor Canadian medical system four times before I chose to commiserate with him:

My sleep doc is a danger.

I have waited 2 months for an appointment to be made with the specialist. Weicome to Canadian medicine, at least the way my gp sees it.

BTW many people in toronto have no family doctor. I am lucky to have one, though he works in a flawed system.

Our medical, health care costs are out of control. There were measures taken a few years ago that affect us today. We have health management, not health care.

Mike, I accuse you of being an alarmist claiming DaveL has had a heart attack. To the contrary, after correcting what he meant by the title, there are indications that DaveL has not had a heart attack. Of course, as I said in the post you crudely objected to:

I am also concerned that your nocturia is a sign that you are having a significant amount of apneas. Can you read your AHI and mask leak on that machine? Data is a must, IMO.

Everyone should have an annual exam and discussion about their heart health with a doctor. However, :

I think many of us would like to hear from Dave L, to know he at least saw his doctor/ER! Shortness of breath is not something to be taken lightly. And, if it turns out to be nothing, WONDERFUL! I mean, who wouldn't have chest pain or shortness of breath not checked out???

It's OK. The serious thread was the previous thread, the one where we're all trying to get Dave L to seek immediate medical evaluation.

This thread is about "So Well"'s attempted Obama-bashing hijack of that thread, and since it's really no more than a well-earned public spanking of "So Well", it isn't serious at all, and should just be enjoyed for whatever humor our readers can mine from it.

If "So Well" had done the honorable thing, and deleted his two hijack posts (I PMed him a gentle message asking him to please do just that), I would've been forced to respond in kind, and delete this thread.

As it was, Mars, before you posted, this post was sinking like a rock, with a readership of 40 pairs of eyeballs at around 11 pm EST.

Then, despite my reasonable request (I know, I know, you couldn't help yourself), you decided to post, have a little sport with me (completely cool, and even welcome), and in doing so, you dragged the post off the ocean floor, and popped it to the surface for all to marvel at. Now, at 10:15pm EST, this post has a readership of 278, with a bullet.

But, imho, the right honorable gentleman made two mistakes.

I know this will sound, well, odd coming from me of all people, but . . . less is more.
