Moving from nasal pillow to FFM - advice?

I jammed a clothes hanger between my headboard and wall and that works just fine, but it still pulls out whenever I move.

Maybe something a little sturdier than coat hanger? Or if you meant pillows got pulled out of nose ...is there not much loose hose? I use the Swift FX. I toss and turn a lot. I don't use anything to hold the hose. I have lots of loose hose to mess with. Only once did I wake up with the pillows blowing in my ear.

How about a hose extension if you feel there is too much tension on the hose as it is now? Too easily dislodged from nose.. Don't know how far your machine is from your head but you can use a longer hose and not lose therapy. Up to 8 foot hose for sure and I think maybe up to 10 foot hose. Just a thought... while your nose is healing..

My issue is that I'm a toss and turner and whenever I move at night, the hose pulls slightly which causes the pillows to dislodge and shoot air in my face. If I could keep em in easier, I'd stick with em.

The hose is so light that it doesn't drag on the mask thereby unseating the nasal pillows. Also I use a hose hanger which helps. https://www.cpap.com/productpage/travel ... ystem.html Look at the picture with the machine and hose connected to the hanger. The triangular shaped part at the bottom of the piece goes under the mattress and you can see that the hose end that attaches to the mask is free to move. I can toss and turn like a beached fish and no unseating. I use the CL2 which has the hose going off the top of my head - which helps with the whole rolling over/toss and turn issue.

Night 2, top of my nose still hurts I just ordered a padacheek

Slept all night with the mask - when I woke up in the morning i could feel some air leaking out the side. I might try to slighten tighten the side strap a bit.

Well, first night with Quattro FX went pretty well, considering. Had the lowest AHI since starting (3.3), but also had the most wake-ups from dry mouth. Leaking not too bad, I think my graphs would look a lot like yours, scotjf8, despite the beard. My nose wasn't bothered by the mask, maybe because I always wear glasses so I've got some pretty good calluses there already! I noticed too, if the mask slipped down too far, it pinched my nasal passages closed enough to make nose-breathing difficult. Mostly it stayed in the sweet spot though, so I was pretty happy!

That's great! You have a new mask right? For me, the Quattro seal only has a 'sweet spot' when it's new and quickly becomes problematic when aging. Let us know if that's true for you.

I loosened it pretty good but my nose is killing me. Each morning I wake up about 6am hurting and take it off, and put ,y FX back on.

Hopefully my padacheeck shows up soon.
