Alkalol Nasal Rinse?

Post by Lizzzabeth » Mon Aug 29, 2011 7:35 pm

This weekend I watched Dr. Krakow's "nose Knows" videos, following a link here. Today I mentioned to my boss that I was thinking about getting a neti pot, and she recommended the Alkalol system--it adds an herbal and essential oil mix to saline mixture.

Has anyone else had any experience with that? What do you use for a nasal irrigation system (if you do?)

I use a Water Pik® sinus irrigator tip for nasal irrigation. I add an ounce, or two, of Alkalol to the saline solution. It has that nice refreshing smell.

At one time, I could get my pharmacy to order Alkalol. I last ordered it online.

Alkolol? wow, I remember first using that nearly 50 years ago!
I didn't even think they still made that stuff, but I looked it up and see that they do.
Must be hard to find in retail outlets.
