Recently I am finding that I have been taking my mask off in the middle of the night. I don't remember doing this and am getting a little frustrated.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Sith

superglue?
Re: Taking mask off at night
Use tape over the straps so you will feel it if you pull the mask off.

Does not work... trust me.LSAT wrote:Use tape over the straps so you will feel it if you pull the mask off.
There have been many a night when I have pulled the mask off for whatever reason in the middle of the night. Sometimes I wake up while I am doing it (for like 30 seconds or so, to look at the clock and mutter something incomprehensible), but mostly I wake up in the morning and its off and laid neatly on top of the compressor.
While it is very annoying, I am glad to know that at least my subconscious has the prescence of mind to set the mask down properly and out of the way and not just let it fall into the bed where it might get squashed if I inadvertently roll over it while I am sleeping.

I've done this a few times before. Somehow asleep me even turns off my machines too, and yes, places the mask on the desk neatly instead of somewhere on the bed. Weirdest thing
Re: Taking mask off at night
On my machine, there is a mask alarm that you can turn on, and it should wake you up if you take off your mask.
I've only done it once (and had quite the strange dream about this noisy thing I was holding in my hand), and woke up with the mask shoved under the pillow, machine still going.

Lots of people report they not only take the mask off, but turn the machine off and carefully store the mask where they keep it in the day. I find the PRS1 alarm is way too quiet to help that much.cowlypso wrote:On my machine, there is a mask alarm that you can turn on, and it should wake you up if you take off your mask.

We need some sort of alarm function where you have to walk into another room and push a button. Or maybe even push some sequence of buttons like a drunk test.
