Unfortunately there is very little support for Encore if you were thinking of picking Respironics brain.
Viewer is the patient oriented version for sale $99 and when I had it the paperwork that came with it plainly said no support.

Pro of course is the DME or clinic version and Respironics sure won't help us with it.

There is nothing in either that can be used to nit pick the results you see. No guidelines as to what is good and what is bad. We have to figure that out ourselves. It isn't hard though.

Which machine are you using? Your profile points to older model. The software will work with the older machines but a special card reader is needed for the smart card. The DT3500 Infineer is needed. If you have the smart card (looks like a credit card) you will also need to update the driver software for the DT3500. I have that link if you need it and cannot find it.

If you have the little SD card then you have the wrong machine in your profile. No special card reader is needed unless your computer doesn't have a SD slot. If that is the case any cheap generic card reader will do.

I'm somewhat new ( 3months) to CPAP and also to the forum, and struggling to get my AHI's lower.
I'm using a Remstar Auto A-flex and would like to use the Encore software.
Do I need any special computer system requirements or additional equipment to use this?

Many, Many, Thanks!

Tina

It is Windows based software so if you use a Mac you will have to create some sort of Windows environment or it won't work.
If your computer has a SD slot no special card reader is needed. If you don't have a SD slot then you will need an adapter to plug into one of the USB ports. Any generic card reader adapter will work.

Pro comes in 32 and 64 bit versions. Viewer is only 32 bit though some people have managed to get the 64 bit version to work. Does take some work.
Pro is huge so there is some space requirements. Viewer is half Pro's size. Both are awful slow on my new super fast computers. They are resource hogs.

I too would like to have Encore Pro 2.. I have the reader however I would like to be able to make changes as necessary. I have both 32 and 64 bit systems and I am a hardware and software support professional so operating the software should not be an issue. Thanks in advance for any help....

Check your PM box. I had to chuckle a bit. Murphy's law seems to hit the computers owned by the experienced professionals and Pro gives them fits. Let's hope you are one of the lucky ones. Seems like 1 in 5 has problems with Pro. It can be a royal PITA sometimes.

To the other recent posters requesting information on using Pro, check your PM box. I am caught up and you should have the information.

I was wondering where I could download Encore Pro. Which version do I need for Windows 7? I have other PC's but the Windows 7 machine is the only one with a card reader. Thanks.

Version choices for Pro are depended on either 32 bit or 64 bit systems and not which Windows version

BUT

Your profile says you have the Plus machine and it is NOT full data machine. The only data on that little SD card is hours of use. How many hours you use the machine during the night to satisfy your insurance requirements.
Are you brand new to this therapy? How long have you had this machine?
If you want the full data that the software reports you will need a different machine.
Read this "what to do when I get stuck with a non data machine".

I would love the link for the Encore Pro also. I just got a new PR System One Auto and want to get an SD card for it. Will downloading this software slow my laptop very badly? Thank you so much!!
