Damn it feels good to be a Gangsta.....

Score one for the Facehugger.....

Been on the machine since Feb - May and June were terrible due to allergies, powered through and now back to getting 5-7 hrs a night, numbers look good - leak line is flatter, probably be better if I used one of the hard plastic masks but not giving up the Sleepweaver for anything.

Still waking up every 2-3 hrs, not sure if it is going to be like that forever or what but was laying there in the wee hours waiting to go back to sleep, Dog started making noise like he could hear a hoodoo out in the yard.

Live on an acre - have a house and outbuilding separated by a stamped concrete courtyard - I ninja'ed down to the living room (keeping the lights off) and could see someone out in the courtyard - hit the switch the powers on the four 500 watt flood lights and got a good look at the creeper before he took off like his hair was on fire. Let dog out after him but he came back empty handed (empty-pawed?)

Lucky for me, have a couple of close-circuit cameras on the property that record to an old pc with a 2 terra byte hard drive - they aren't so good in low light, but when I hit the floods, I got an excellent image of the guy on video - neighbors kid.

Baggy pants little POS with an attitude (and I have a housefull of daughters - having him slink around in the middle of the night doesn't work for me).

Went over to have a disucssion with the neighbor - ok guy, defended his kid, said I had the wrong person til he saw the video - changed his tune pretty quick, said the kid was a handfull and had suspected he was out and about at night. Kid is 16 going on 17 and on Summer break. I asked dude if the kid was working, he said no so I gave him my card and told him to have the kid report 8:00 am Monday morning I'd put him to work.

Snarky little bastard doesn't know I know it was him sneaking around - thinks his old man got him the job.

Haha - warehouse work aint for the faint-hearted. Pack mentality - he came in thinking he was all that and the boys beat him down pretty quick - been here two days can already see an improvement in his 'tude. Been making him load trucks - heavy machine parts with special instructions to the yard boss (you don't backtalk that dude and keep all your teeth) to ride his ass - we'll see how it goes.

Wonderful, keep 'em busy they will feel better about themselves, and he'll be too tired to sneak around your property in the wee hours since he'll be sound asleep!

You know the saying "a good dog is a tired dog". Works for snotty teens, too!

At my dad's funeral I had a guy come up to me and tell me that if my dad had not caught him trying to steal from our business in 1967 he would be in prison now. Dad put him to work paying off the value of the theft, after he got done he asked if there was anything else he could do. Dad put him on the payroll and the kid turned out pretty good.

Well, I have to give the kid credit for sticking it out two days so far.

Our farmer neighbor hired some husky teen boys to load hay from the field trailers to the barns at $10 a hour. Not one came back the second day. One didn't last the morning and only two finished the first day.

Probably the first time in his life the baggy pants actually came in useful.
