I am wondering if many of the above posters (including myself) actually suffer from Hypochondriasis?
I say it b/c there are too many issues involved in the symptoms which sound as being idiopatics (no one knows how to cure them):

It's amazing that CPAP treatment is also blamed for some of those ailments.
Does anyone have UARS?

Re: Does anyone have UARS?
Bright Choice, were you able to determine a good sleep dr and a good lab before making appts to see them? I'd love to know how you went about that!Bright Choice wrote:...I spent a lot of time here on cpt researching uars - to the point that I decided to find a sleep doc who paid more attention to titrations as they relate to uars. Re: Does anyone have UARS?
I did quite a bit of research here on CPT and communicated with a number of posters here regarding their experiences with different doctors. I then made a rather "intuitive" decision and was pleased with the result.Jade wrote:Bright Choice, were you able to determine a good sleep dr and a good lab before making appts to see them? Re: Does anyone have UARS?
I just had to bump this thread up because I realized that no one has discussed a couple of things to discuss as they relates to uars. The first is nasal hygiene - ie making sure that your nasal passages are clear enough to breathe through. Very important! Take a look at threads here that talk about nasal congestion.
The other item to search are threads that relate to reflux, both "silent" and the regular "heartburn" type gerd. Gerd can contribute to uars.
