OT: Going in for some heart tests tomorrow

Post by dusty0318 » Tue Jun 21, 2011 2:02 pm

Got to have a stress test and an echocardiogram. They're trying to find out why I get so short of breath.

I would appreciate any prayers, good thoughts, and best wishes cause I'm awfully nervous.

It is very understandable to be nervous. I will certainly be keeping you in my thoughts and hoping for a positive outcome.

I feel for you. I was nervous before mine, too, but I lived through it. Are they going to do the drug stress test or make you run on a treadmill?

Please don't be nervous, they have to run these tests but they usually come out negative. Most of the time It's just a precautionary measure.
I had all that done last year and he just said,' cut out caffeine'
I will pray for you that you will be fine.
GOD BLESS YOU.

I've had both the chemical and treadmill stress tests. I CHOOSE the treadmill over the chemical in a heartbeat (no pun intended).

The first time is nervewracking, but you'll do fine. IMHO the very WORST part is when they use sandpaper on my skin so the cables stick really well - ouchie!

Good luck!

Cheers,
xena
