I saw someone mention Encore Pro 2.5 but I haven't seen it and certainly not widespread.
So seems to be Encore Pro 2.4.12.2.. There are 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Pro.
EncoreViewer not sure of past the 2.0 that cpap.com sells. Maybe someone who has bought it recently could check version to see. 32 bit supposedly but a few have got it to run on 64 bit.

Far as I know, no problems with either product with Windows 7. As with any software there are a handful that have problems installing even though specs seem okay.

I only know about Encore Viewer and the latest is Encore Viewer 2.

It works fine on Windows 7 - 32 bit, which I have. Apparently there are problems with Windows 7 - 64 bit. Some on the forum seem to have found ways to make it work with the 64 bit.

Someone else will be along about Encore Pro.

So it sounds like one needs Enore Pro if they want to run it on Windows 7 64bit?

I'll have to leave that to someone else to respond but this will bump the thread up.

While some have reported success with EV 2.0 on 64 bit computers, I don't think it was an easy way to go. Have no idea what was done to get it to work.

Simplest would be EncorePro 64 bit version. It does work with Windows 7.

A few people have had problems with install. Even some 32 bit Vista computers. I don't know why. 64 bit version seems to be even a little more of a potential problem. Failure rate isn't high but there are some.

For those interested in installing Encore Viewer 2.0 on a 64-bit computer here is the link to the thread with a method to make it work:

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=51779&st=0&sk=t&sd= ... wer+64+bit

I have not tried this as I use Encore Pro on my 64-bit system.

Good Luck,
Dennis

In 10/2010 one of the members posted a link for the 32bit and 64 bit versions. It did not stay up long before it was taken
down. If you want more info PM me and I will get back to you.
I do not have any personal knowledge of it working as I am still using EP 1.7x and windows Xp Home edition
If I have to move from my old tank machines I will be looking at updating too.
Thanks ABlong

I bought my Encore software right here at cpap.com. It is version 2.0.23.0
I use it on BOTH of my Windows 7 64 bit computers. Simple fix. Once you find someone (my case is my wife) with a 32 bit computer, all I did was view the file on her computer. I did a simple "copy" of the entire program. I then drag & drop it to any USB or thumb drive. Now I simply took it & drag & dropped to my desktops of both my 64 bit computers. Just open that new folder & you click on the program & it runs flawlessly! NO hassles whatsoever.....Just had to get sneaky with it!
