I am back !!
I am back !!
Hi everyone, I am back in business, I am super happy Just went and bought a replacement cpap. Seller was super nice, and practically gave the machine to me. Machine was hardly used for 4 months. Came with bag, 2 brand new swift nasal pilows, I do not need, so if anyone wants contact me, a new hose, a Resmed card.
Seller said, she just couldn't use the cpap. Only wants her deductible back. Upon inspection, machine is brand spankin new. I thanked them a million times. They could have gotten alot more for the machine. Let's put it this way, they were very generous, kind people.
Came home, download sellers data, everything works great !!!!! So now, once again I can review data. Not being able to review data was stressing me out.
So tomorrow, first time in a long time, I will be able to see how I am sleeping. This machine is mine, not hospital issue. So I can change whatever I want. It's time to get my treatment 100%

Thanks so much It's been a journey filled with up/down's,. But, i still haven't given up. Although I feel like it many times. Something is definely wrong with my previous machine, one I purchased today blows alot harder. My mask feels like it's going to blow off my face. My previous one fell off night stand twice. One I purchased today is Velcro strapped. Not, only did I lose data on my other machine, but my fatigue began to get worse with time.
Wishing you well on your journey. Sleep well.
Spirit

Re: I am back !!
Yeah!! So how was your data?
Re: I am back !!
Thanks everyone
Oh man, bummer. cpap is not autoset, it's Elite II Didn't even pay attention, when I purchased. I went back to straight pressure of 10,. Prescribed 9,. Woke up today, with a pleasant surprise !! I slept 8 hours 23 minutes. My AHI was 1.6, leak 0.0 Now, hope I can keep this consistent.
Today, I woke up feeling like a new person.
Lower pressure, resolved leak issue So, higher pressure, higher leaks to control. Going from large to med mask helped too (straight pressure). Now, I am beginning to realize, it's easier to work with prescribed straight pressure, then increase auto pressure. Especially for newbies. Get leaks to 0.0 consistent. Pressure difference was disturbing my sleep, in auto. But, I had no way of knowing, since Oct 2010. Control leaks straight cpap = sleep better.
Now looking back at all my summary data: Auto settings created more events then Straight settings. Interesting.
Apparently DoriC was correct, possibe auto pressure was disturbing my sleep. Thanks you DoriC.
I tried straight cpap on my, previous machine, changed mask, no data. Last time, I felt energized I was using straight cpap, pressure of 10,. Now, I have tried both methods. Both have pro/cons, my conclusion is controlling leaks at lower straight pressure, produces better results. So large to med mask made a difference in leak control straight pressure.
Hope I made sense, Lol !!! My journey continues on........

It sounds like you're analytical approach is headed for success. I'm convinced there is a 'magic' formula for each of us : )
