I have been using a CPAP for 6 weeks now. I use nasal pillows and wear a chin strap. I notice the chin strap sometimes loosen or moves at night. My wife says she hears me breathing thru my mouth when this happens. lately I am feeling run down again. Any one have any suggestions?
Thanks

Re: Chin strap
There are lots of discussions on this forum about how to keep your mouth closed when using nasal pillows. You can type "mouth closed" in the Search box above to access them.
The chin strap didn't help me keep my mouth closed. I tried other techniques, but ultimately the doctor switched me over to a full face mask.
Good luck.

Re: Chin strap
If a chin strap doesn't work (they rarely do) you need to tape. If you don't want to tape a full face mask is the answer. Take a look at cpap.com for the Respcare/Innomed Hybrid, it has nasal pillows and a mouth piece. There are manyy full face masks, read all the reviews and see what you like best.
