Well I found the software but it can't detect the meter. And I do have the right cable.

I found my software after all but it wouldn't work but have found the problem. There
may be something in the newer versions of Windows that crashes the software. After
trying it on a computer with Windows 7 on it and not being able to detect the device
I tried it on a Windows xp updated service pack 3 and it wouldn't work either. But
I loaded it into a computer with an older copy of Windows xp and it works fine.
