Free NEW TOP END ResMed FOUND A HOME :)

Post by BiPapUser1 » Sun Mar 13, 2011 3:17 pm

It was very difficult to have to choose among the overwhelming responses and I pray that eveyone who wrote to me quickly finds what they need. After the bi-pap ships, I will unsubscribe from to forum and make room for someone else to join. Thanks again to all who took the time to help me and for the education I wasn't expecting, but have grown to appreciate! (especially, you..pudgys! )

Please read my past posts for this machine's information and history w' this forum. I haven't been able to re-sell the machine and everyday, I look at it and wonder whose life could be better if it wasn't just sitting here collecting dust. I've come to accept that I will not be recovering any of the money I invested so instead of just resentfully hanging on to it, I'd rather feel good about passing it on as a gift to someone who can really use it.

To get the machine, I have only three simple requests... 1. Please really need it and take just a few minutes to leave me a message, either private or public, letting me know that you are a good candidate. (This clearly is not to be meant as a contest, but given how much money I paid, It would be nice to have some type of reassurance.) 2. Whomever wants the machine and all its accessories pays the actual shipping charges from Newport Beach Ca and postal insurance. (no hidden costs or services fees, etc. just the actual charges.) 3. After the machine arrives, the person who gets it lets me know it arrived in good condition and is finally doing its job.

Warm regards
Connie

Connie,
Please consider joining a sleep apnea group in your area. You may find it easier to go with it if you just had some local support. Bipap/CPAP really is a life-saver. For someone to take a machine your doctor clearly feels you need would be like someone else reducing your chances of a fulfilling life. It would be hard for many of us to consider doing this to a fellow papper. Please reconsider. There are so many people on the board willing to help you figure it out here too.

Best regards,

Chris

Chris,
I think Connie has the machine in her possession because a family member passed. I don't think she was the person who needed it..

Okay, gotcha. Definitely better to give it away to someone who needs it. In which case, Connie is doing someone a good turn. Thanks Pugsy for clarifying.

This is a very generous offer for those that need it.

I do hope that the person receiving it truly is worthy of it and has a true need for it.

Also, have you tried to donate it to your local sleep clinic or a local AWAKE group? This would help someone in your community and could be used for a tax break if you get a receipt for the donation.
