SO here we are 2006
" À l'aube du Nouvel An, acceptez de tout coeur nos voeux

"Meilleur Voeux!"
Popcorn machine, how cute. I wish I could remember all my French. So I am getting help from a online French dictionary and my brain.
At the first light/beginning of the new year, Accept
I gave up and used babel fish "
"At the dawn of New Year's day, accept of any heart our most cordial wishes for one year exceptional!"
Thanks Popcorn

It is no wonder why the French are associated with beauty.

Happy NEW YEAR to all our friends around the globe.
Here in Sydney on NY day we had a record high temp recorded.
47C or 116F
Very hot day - warm winds - bushfire alerts but little damage (just on 3 houses lost across the country).
I know some of you are dodging snow - am not sure which place I would rather be in
Cheers

Wow DSM
It is summertime there isn't it? That is way too hot for me. It gets up to about 104 degrees farenheit sometimes in the summer here in southern colorado.
Usually stays in the upper 80s to lower 90s. with very dry heat. We use a swamp cooler and it does a pretty good job keeping the house cool.
The winters here can be cold with snow, or just cold nights and weird days. Right now nights have been cold, and the days unseasonably warm. Crazy Colorado weather.
Wellp, thats all folks
