I am sorry you are having problems with the Mfr. One can understand TV's having warranties that are not valid all over the world. But a medical device should be in a different category. I understand that there may be different distributors in each country but Respironics should step up and do whatevere is necessary to get your machine running. Even if it means shipping you a new machine at no charge. CPAP users will read these posts and it will affect their future purchases.
Like I said, since Georgia isn't one of the countries that Respironics has a presence in, it's possible that the supplier procured the machine through the black or grey market, or it is possibly a total fake ripoff. These foreign markets are not well-regulated (which is why the OP was able to buy it from Georgia in the first place), and it's buyer beware out there!

I know you're thinking of the human interest and marketing sides of things, but this could open a can of worms for a multi-national corporation if they stepped out of their contracts, warranties, and treaties to help this one person.

Indeed it was. Good eye!

So, is semreka the new incarnation of Surly? Odd he shows up to comment in THIS topic after 6 yrs of silence. Just a thought to ponder...

I just would like to say to Avi........YOU gave me shit for MY avatar????!!!! You saved Rested Gal's photo and are using it as YOUR avatar?! I don't know about copyright infringement, but that is just plain wrong (unless you had her permission, in which case, I revise my opinion to say that she must have temporarily lost her mind...which I doubt).

Perhaps he did it as a tribute to RG. I can see your point though. I was confused, even shocked, when I saw RG's photo on his avatar too. I've always liked your choice of "Avatar" avatar.

[EDIT: I don't know why, but avi removed the very nice things he said about RG in the url I originally linked to. I'm confused again.]

Off topic:
avi123: I am glad to put you and your beloved avatar on my ignore list. Finito!
I wonder who will be left for avi123 to carry on with when he finishes putting every one of us who disagrees with him on his ignore list.....

Oh, Avi! What's not to love about a guy who accuses me of sticking MY nose into others' posts after he stuck RESTED GAL'S nose into HIS avatar?!

DreamDiver, I was not sure that it was RG photo. Apparently testing it this way worked. But after I got her PM to remove it I complied. Frankly, I was planning to swap avatars with her. This way she would return the Cardinal to me as being a NC bird symbol and not Tennessee's. Also, I was going to say the nice things about her while facing her beautiful eyes. Sort of falling in love with her. But what's the difference since it's all over.

Israel is not the country which I could have chance to see, yet, even it is in middle east.
So, I would like to see your country very much..
For ERDOGAN issue..
it is better for me to take him to your country and leave it to you....
But , it will be a raw deal for you...
Erdogan is my people's fate.
Unfortunately , God does not write good things to the destiny book always..
