Should cpaptalk Be Divided Into Categories or Subsections?

Giving a bad example of over-categorization is not an effective argument for no organization at all. It's only a warning not to go crazy with categories. Thus, let's start at two.

Maybe, if the Camel just can get his nose under the tent.... Case settled in 2005, it works well as is, for more Categories or Subsections, use Other Forums. They like things sprinkled around. Our main problem is the feeding of trolls, and posting on Spammer threads. I don't know why it's so hard to resist, but it sure is counter productive. I use a Trackball to open posts I want to see, that works for me. Jim

Hear! Hear! Could not agree more. I love search. Too many of these posts do not fit any single category. Plus if we had categories, most of us would pay attention to one or two categories. It's amazing how helpful it can be when EVERYONE sees and responds to the posts. Input from newbies and input from old timers alike make the forum a better place.

As a newbie I have to chime in... I have read and re-read topics and post in this forum. I found things in these post i had no idea to even search for. I like it the way it is. I have learned a lot just by wondering what that word means...like cpapcap, and padacheek. ( Padacheek is something I am gonna order!! ) I have also learned that my symptoms are not out of the ordinary. I have only used this forum for a month, but I love it.

I voted yes, but only because I think that there should be a separate "For Sale" forum. The rest of it can stay as is, but it is really kind of a pain if you are looking for something, or if you are selling something and your thread disappears to page 2 or 3 right away, since sales threads rarely become a discussion thread.
