Too many guesses in the article reminding me of a recent article in the Wall Street Journal that if your hand's index finger is longer than the ring finger then you're less prone to prostate cancer. And what about the crease in your ear earlobe indicating that you've a heart condition?

I know a lady who had febrile convulsions at age 3 mos which disappeared at puberty. But then came back after age 20 as epilepsy. Was operated on her brain at age 30 whereby some tissue was removed. No more seizures till now when she is at 46. Should she be checked for OSA?

p.s. if MMA has to do with Dr. Park's specialty then the comment seems to be a sales pitch.

Dr. Park is an ENT and doesn't do MMA (that would be an oral surgeon) I urge to you read his book, Sleep Interrupted

Thank you for posting this link. I was diagnosed with epilepsy/seizure disorder in high school. While I haven't had a grand mal seizure since then, I remember 5-6 years ago having terrible headaches, neck pain, and a bloody tongue some mornings. I even remember a couple of nights where I would wake up in the middle of the night with the room spinning out of control. Looking back on that now, I'm guessing they were night grand mal seizures.

I have been using CPAP for the past 6 years and while I'm still not satisfied with the therapy, I haven't had any night seizure symptoms.

I always feel uneasy when MD's ask for opinions with all the studies out there. In the case of Dr Park while he's probably a good ENT & he makes alot of sense on many subjects , alot of his comms just sound like a sales pitch.
