I'm using oils and cotton. Seems okay. At any rate, I don't smell the plastic hose/mask smell anymore. Way more pleasant! I can't speak against the PurSleep because I haven't used it. I hated the smell of my mask so I wanted some oils right away and didn't want to wait for the others to ship. I definitely recommend some sort of pleasant smell to make the experience better.

Thanks for your suggestion...I sent a note off tonight. It sounds like they used to have much better holders for the pads...the cardboard is not great IMHO.

I have used some of the oils from the Dollar Stores - ? - ? - They are not mixed and if they get on any plastic you have a mess that cant be cleaned up AND you can talk to my wife about what happens when it gets on the nightstand finish... < She is still BITCHING!>

Haven't had any problems with the Pur-Sleep product with the little pads <<I mark each one with what oil I'm using and after a few uses they seem to work even better>>

For NEWBIES it's a GREAT way to get your mind off the hose & mask smell and helps you sleep......

Thanks for your suggestion. I sent him an email last night and received a reply this morning...he is going to send me an aluminum diffuser which should have been included in the original starter kit. He said the cardboard ones were included just for travel...so now I will be a happy camper!!
