My sister gave me a Kindle for Christmas.

My first download was Dr. Krakow's
Sound sleep, sound mind

These are amazing tools.
I really like the ability to download book previews.

Linked and ready for download.
Thanks!

There are some ~775,000 ebooks out there in the ether.
A Kindle w/hold 3.5K books.

With DVR capability that I got last summer,
in a few months, I have recorded enough stuff
that I could watch tv 24/7.....
and not have time to watch it all.....
and it continues to record...as we speak.

Trying to keep up w/cpaptalk and bike forums,
I have information over load .....

..... so when in doubt , I always just for a bike ride.

I know what you mean!!! I have over 100 e-books on my Kindle, and I've only had it for a month! Most of the books I obtained were free. I'm rediscovering old classics as well as contemporary indie authors that I wouldn't have read otherwise. It's easy to get overloaded and unbalanced, but it certainly is nice to have choices to suit my reading mood, which does change from time to time!

I just downloaded the kindle ap for pc and the free ebook.
they did not ask for credit card info.
it was easy and quick. I already had an account on Amazon but you might be able to do it without having one.
thanks for the lead!!

Wow! Thank you. I just set those up for download. When I next turn on wifi on my Kindle it should download.

This is a great resource. And "The Price is Right!" Thank you for providing the pointer!

Thanks for the info. I'm impressed with Cleveland Clinic -- so looking forward to reading the book. That is, if I can get the Kindle away from my wife.
Actually, I also have the Kindle app on my laptop and can access my books here as well. The Kindle was a Christmas gift from our kids -- and we love it.

Amazon is not allowing Australian based sites access to this download. Is it possible to obtain a copy from somebody?

I am in Canada and tried to get this Kaplan ebook and a couple of others but Sony Reader Store here shows them as "unavailable". Does this mean I can't get them in Canada?

Thanks

fwiw - if you are creating a new account it wants a credit card before it will proceed to download. I have no clue what happens after that point
