I'm a two-month "newbie". I purchased a Wrist Ox a few weeks ago, but haven't used it yet. It came with SW, but no instructions since it was a demo unit purchased from a rep. I don't have the faintest idea how to use it. First, I'd like to learn how to interpret the data from my S9 autoset. I look at the summary data daily, but can't figure out how to obtain the detailed data (even though all available data is selected). I just sent in my card to the DME today, but don't expect any help from them in sofware usage.
Can someone explain in detail, the settings I need to make to obtain all the detailed data on the S9 Autoset? And, does anyone else use a Wrist OX? I assume it isn't compatible with the S9 since it was a Respironics product? But, it does have independent software. I purchased it because there was some question about my oxygen levels in the sleep study results.
I was hoping that after I got used to using the S9, I could then spend my time learning how to interpret all the "mumbo jumbo".
Thanks in advance for any help offered.

Sydney, Does the watch version allow you to view any recorded info on the device screen without downloading to the software on a computer?sydneybird wrote:I have the CMS-50F, which is the wristwatch version of the 50E.
I bought the CMS-50h and managed to keep it on all night for the first time. Now it is malfunctioning and I can't access the menu to turn off the record and start a download.

Re: Oximeter - How To?
Hi Lizistired,
No, I can't view the recorded data on the oximeter display, at least not on mine. For me, to get into the menu to turn off the recording I have to hold the button down for 3 seconds. Otherwise it just goes between the real time data and the time/date display. If that doesn't work, you might try turning off the oximeter and turning it back on to see if it clears the malfunction, but the turn off option is in the same menu as the stop recording option. The recorded data should still be in memory until you hit record again. Removing and installing the battery may fix the malfunction, like a reboot, but it will probably clear the memory and you will loose the data. I haven't taken the oximeter apart to see what the battery looks like and if it just pops out. Good luck.

Re: Oximeter - How To?
Thanks Sydney,
I would like to be able to quick review the data on the device. But that would be expensive if it was even available.
Mine will go to real time, but when you "long push" it flashes "Please change direction first!", then goes back to real time or "recording". I guess I'll see what happens when the battery dies and I plug it back in. I'm ticked, I just got it last week! No response to my email to the supplier yet.

Send me a private message and I'll email you a copy of the user manual; not copyrighted as far as I can tell. I'll have to scan the 38 postage stamp-sized pages first.Lizistired wrote:Thanks Sydney,

I can't get mine to give me that error message that the direction needs to be changed before entering the menu for changing settings and stopping recording. My watch software version is 3.5 which displays at power on. I wear the watch on my right arm which means I leave it flipped from the default direction all of the time and it turns back on in my flipped direction after powering off. Try this ... while it is in real time mode showing your pulse, push the button really quickly, a fraction of a second. That should give you the display showing the date and time, then push the button really quickly multiple times to flip the display back and forth. The first push should get you the same direction you started with, the second push will flip it and the third push will flip it again. I hope that helps.
