Swift LT Hers VS Swift LT (His!!!)

Post by lasater » Sun Jan 02, 2011 3:23 pm

My wife has a swift LT for her - It works great for me and I want to get one. Can anyone (who has both the origional and the "for her" version) tell me if the mask frame itself is the same size for both? The "for her" version comes with a petite, small, and medium barrell. The origional comes with a small, medium, and large barrell but are the mask frames the same size?

If not I might get a "for her" and get the needed large barrell.

Thanks.

I use the LT for her. When I did my titration study I used a regular LT. When I picked up my equipment I was fitted with the LT for for her and X-small pillows. After a month I switched to small pillows. During titration I was using medium pillows.

I would go for what you KNOW works. I think the only difference is the color of headgear and the size rage of pillows included. I read someone where I think that the LT for her head gear is suppose to be a little smaller.
Diagnosed 08/31/10. Titration 9/02/10. Started CPAP 11/01/10. Auto mode 10-15cm. Alternate mask GoLife for her. Back up mask Full-life full face w/Pad-a-cheek mask liner. Comtec CMS F50 wrist pulse oximeter. Sobakawa Cloud Pillow, Sleepyhead software

The LT and the LT for her are exactly the same size. The ONLY difference besides color is the sizes of nasal pillows that are included. If you think you might need the Large size pillow, get the regular LT, otherwise it doesn't matter.

This is exactly what the people at CPAP.com told me as well.

Hi there--The swift FX for her is smaller than the regular FX but the LT is the same head gear as the FOR HER version. Your auto signature says you are using the FX.

Hope this helps,
Carrie

Besides the pillow sizes xs,s & m for the LT for her, versus s,m, & L for LT for him,
the the LT for her provides soft wraps for the headgear arms which rest on the cheek. They are suppose to reduce marks on the skin I haven't had any trouble with lines and marks using this mask,
