Say Merry Christmas to Our Troops

Post by GumbyCT » Tue Dec 21, 2010 3:01 pm

XEROX IS DOING SOMETHING COOL

If you go to this web site, http://www.LetsSayThanks.com you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq or Afghanistan . You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services.

How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! It is FREE and it only takes a second.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or against the war, our soldiers over there need to know we are behind them.

This takes just 10 seconds and it's a wonderful way to say thank you. Please take the time to pass it on for others to do. We can never say enough thank you's.

Thanks for taking to time to support our military!

Hi
In Canada one of our members of parliament is requesting that everyone send a $5 gift card to all of our troops in Afganistan for Tim Horton's coffee.
They have a "Timmys" over there and the coffee and donuts are loved by Canadians. As a matter of fact when my son was posted to Colorado Springs a couple of years ago, I had to take down several cans of Tim's coffee every time I went to visit. He actually got several of his U.S. military friends hooked on it too.......then I had more requests for coffee everytime i went down.
Our combined troops overseas deserve whatever we can do for them be it Christmas or not....THEY DESERVE THE BEST!!!!!!! They are serving to keep us from harm.
Cheers
Nan

I just sent one. We had nothing like this in Vietnam. GIs always want to know that they're not forgotten.
